Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 40604
writer table: footnote disturbes table calculation
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
summary: a footnote(-number?) in a table with numbers disturbes a [F2]-calculation. example to reproduce: open writer, new table, 3 colums or what you like. A1: 10 B1: 10 C1: [F2] ---> = sum <A1:B1> C2: [F2] ---> = mean <A1:B1> now: C1 = 20, C2 = 10 as it should be. okay. here it comes, set the cursor after the "10" in A1 and insert>footnote. it adds a little 1 as expected and enter some footnote text (like a comment to some results in a protocol some tests) now click into C1 to update the calculation it tells me the sum is 10 and mean value is 5. i've tried this with various situations and i cannot see a common pattern. it also happens in 1.1.x and with 1.9m65@linux so, there should be some checks if the considered values in cells for those very handy functions are some special fields like footnotes (or an error message)
SBA: Broken. This worked in OOo 1.1.4/SO 7_PP4. SBA->FME: As discussed, please have a look. Reassigned to FME.
SBA: Adjusted component= Wordprocessor, Subcomponent= Code.
SBA: Reassigned to FME.
FME->SBA: As discussed, this is not broken. Therefore I'll set this to 'OOo later'.
