Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 40995
Use original MS Office icons for its file types or replace by similar icons
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:32:58 UTC
I think that many would feel much more comfortable and less uncertain if ms office file types remain identified by its original icons, if present, or similar icons are provided, one with a blue "W"... Sometimes it is necessary to be able to identify quickly non OOo format files, such as during a migration from MS Office to OOo.
