Description bob_treder 2005-02-01 23:01:00 UTC
This requirement relates to being able to have different font/color for a word
or phrase within the bulleted line. For example:

<bullet> Use the lm function to fit a linear model

I want "lm" to be in a different font and color than the rest of the text.

I know I can do this through the visual interface but I want to tag it so
sometime in the future when we want to change the color, font, etc. we can do
that to the entire course content using text processing scripts running over
the xml files. Having this feature would make the development and maintenance
of training materials that evolve over time much easier to do in OO than in MS
Powerpoint.

Reassigned.
Comment 2 cno 2008-04-11 22:56:48 UTC
confirm, set to new
I think this could be well achieved if character styles (as known in Writer) are
implemented.

Changed summary:
was: Need ability to tag a subset of a textbox or bullet item by using an
element in the Graphics or Presentation Styles of Stylist
is: Need ability to tag text by using an element in the Graphics or Presentation
Styles of Stylist e.g. by Character Styles
