Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 42769
FAQ: Which version shows fix?
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:37:25 UTC
Excellent information provided by Frank Schönheit at the dba dev list inspires new FAQ task. When a bug is marked fixed, how do I determine which version of OOo will show the fix? original mail thread: http://dba.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=1772 Search for issues in process: Go to http://eis.services.openoffice.org/ and login in (as guest), then select Childworkspaces, then select Search from menu bar below the header. For More Information: http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/ http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/workflowcharts/taskhandling_workflow_issuetracker_fix_close.html http://tools.openoffice.org/ Perhaps it can live with the FAQs started here: http://documentation.openoffice.org/faqs/site_maintainers/index.html Broadening this set of FAQs with this type of info could be super useful.

May I suggest the attached page to checkin to the location suggested by Diane?
Thank you for this FAQ page, Frank! I have uploaded it to the site_maintainers faq set. This FAQ still feels slightly out of place to me. I hope this will change as this faq set further develops. All ideas are welcome. Maybe simply a description for the FAQ set (when it is eventually attached to a visible index page) will help. I think I may leave this issue open as a reminder, until I figure out this part.
started.
I agree that this place is not the best solution ATM. I would love to have it somewhere in the Issue Handling section at qa.ooo (http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/index.html), but there's no FAQ section so far. Perhaps we should start one :)
Yesterday I wondered if it would be better in a set of issue (qa) related faqs too. :)
marking issue as resolved, as was done originally by the project leader, to put the issue back into the expected state.
oops! please forgive me... I got the wrong issue!
It has been suggested that this FAQ become part of an FAQ set that might live at the qa project. I am reassigning this issue as an issue to be considered by the qa project folks. It is good helpful information that could behoove the community, if posted in a place where they will find it.
