Description robert.kinsella 2002-04-30 11:01:07 UTC
Under Tools-Options, select OpenOffice.org at the very top of the tree.

OpenOffice.org appears alongside a butterfly,
The butterfly should be replaced by gulls?.
Comment 1 robert.kinsella 2002-04-30 12:28:13 UTC

Text document
HTML document
Spreadsheet
Presentation
Drawing

Comment 2 khendricks 2002-04-30 14:19:34 UTC
Hi Robert,

Thanks for filing this. I think the generally accepted idea is
to wait for OOo 1.0.1 to remove these last little gems.

I will keep hunting and searching for them (I wish the author of
that code would simply tell me where to look!) and try to get them
removed.

Thanks,

Kevin

Comment 3 Oliver Specht 2002-04-30 14:52:27 UTC
Hi Kevin,
the bitmaps of the options dialog are in the offmgr project
(framework/offmgr/res/tr10*.bmp)
The resource-file is framework/offmgr/source/offapp/dialog/treeopt.src.
Comment 4 robert.kinsella 2002-04-30 15:08:43 UTC
Butterfly icons also in left frame of templates and documents dialog

File - New - Templates and Documents
Comment 5 robert.kinsella 2002-04-30 16:42:45 UTC
also butterfly in macro dilaog

select tools - macro
Comment 6 Unknown 2002-05-15 16:59:11 UTC
The Butterfly also appears under Templates and Samples.
The icons for NewDocument and Templates should be changed to gulls.
Comment 7 uhe 2002-05-17 12:30:48 UTC
I have myself registered as CC
Comment 8 khendricks 2002-06-04 14:52:24 UTC
Hi,

I think this one needs to be marked as ooo1.0 so that it gets fixed
for the next release.

I am adding that keyword.

Thanks,

Kevin
Comment 9 Martin Hollmichel 2002-06-19 11:27:55 UTC
Hi Oliver,

is it possible to move the butterfly bitmaps from the ofa resource to
the iso/ooo resource (also located) in offmgr ?
then we can do easy differention between OOO, StarOffice or other
brandings.
I would like to see this fixed for 00o1.0.1
Comment 10 Oliver Specht 2002-06-24 11:56:07 UTC
Are the bitmaps needed already checked in somewhere?
Comment 11 Oliver Specht 2002-06-25 08:58:31 UTC
The butterflys are out but the gulls are not in yet.

What's missing: The offapp/source/offapp/intro/ooo.src has to be
changed like iso.src has been changed. One difference: The first
and/or second character of the file name of the ImageList has to be
different. (e.g. use oo_treeopt.bmp)

The identifiers are related to the following file names that need to
be checked in into offmr/res:
SID_GENERAL_OPTIONS; oo10432.bmp
SID_LANGUAGE_OPTIONS; oo10921.bmp
SID_INET_DLG; oo10416.bmp
SID_SW_EDITOPTIONS; oo10433.bmp
SID_SW_ONLINEOPTIONS; oo10439.bmp
SID_SC_EDITOPTIONS; oo10435.bmp
SID_SD_EDITOPTIONS; oo10434.bmp
SID_SD_GRAPHIC_OPTIONS; oo10447.bmp
SID_SM_EDITOPTIONS; oo10436.bmp
SID_SCH_EDITOPTIONS; oo10437.bmp
SID_SB_STARBASEOPTIONS; oo10450.bmp
SID_FILTER_DLG; oo10452.bmp

changed files in offmgr:
inc/app.hrc 1.16.4.1
source/offapp/inc/treeopt.hxx 1.10
source/offapp/inc/treeopt.hrc 1.5
source/offapp/dialog/treeopt.cxx 1.21
source/offapp/dialog/treeopt.src 1.99.2.4
source/offapp/intro/iso.src 1.55
source/offapp/intro/oem.src 1.29
source/offapp/intro/makefile.mk 1.5
Comment 12 robert.kinsella 2002-07-12 11:04:33 UTC
On build 1.0.1e (11th July) butterflies have been replaced with gulls
under tools-options. However the butterflies are still in place unser
File-New-Templates and Documents.
Comment 13 robert.kinsella 2002-10-29 14:54:00 UTC
Tested on 643C Linux RedHat6.2
On this latest build the butterflies are still under templates and
documents.
Regression - the old error with the butterflies under tools-options is
back, The butterfly logo's are under tools -options-
openoffice.org, text document, html document, spreadsheet,
presentation, drawing, formula, chart and data sources.

I'm seeing butterfly icons in setup on OO643C, too.
Comment 16 khendricks 2002-12-22 16:35:48 UTC
Hi,

Given the showstopper list for OOo 1.0.2 from Robert, I have been
able to find and fix the the About Box version graphic.

Unfortunately, I can not find the Butterflies under:

File - New - Templates and Documents

or

Tools - Macro

I looked through offmgr and could not find them and spot checked
res/ to see if it was one of the very very long list of bmp files
there and looked through sysui/oounix to check on it as well.

I may have missed it (there are a lot of graphic files!).

Can someone point me to which graphics files are being used for
these remaining butterflies so that we can stamp them out in time
for OOo 1.0.2

Thanks,

Kevin

Comment 17 Oliver Specht 2002-12-23 13:28:38 UTC
The bitmaps of the templates and documents dialog are in svtools/res/
- template.bmp, template_h.bmp, new_doc.bmp, new_doc_h.bmp
Comment 18 khendricks 2002-12-24 16:15:15 UTC
Hi

Thanks for the tip about where to find those graphic files.
I have the skill to "remove" the butterfly from these graphics but I
do not have the skill to addin/draw in the new gulls.

So..

1. is it okay just to remove the butterfly from these for everyone?

2. do people want me to commit the new icons as the same file name
or should I use a a differnt OOo specific name for these files and
then change the files that include it just for OOo?

Thanks,

Kevin

Comment 19 khendricks 2003-01-11 16:41:54 UTC
Hi,

Mark Post has nicely replaced the butterflies with gulls in
svtools/res/template.bmp and new_doc.bmp.

I have just now committed them to OOO_STABLE_1

He has also fixed svtools/res/template_h.bmp and new_doc_h.bmp and I
will commit all 4 new bmps to the 644 tree once and to OO643C once I
get a chance.

Please note: I simply overwrote the names of the files that were
there. None of these ooo specific graphic files should make it back
to the Hamburg tree or they may cause gulls to flourish where
butterflies should!

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi Robert, all,
I splitted this bug in several subissues.
See the dependency list.
Comment 29 khendricks 2003-03-17 14:42:01 UTC
Hi Stefan,

I wanted to see the status of the sub-issues you split this one into and it seems the
dependency list is empty for Issue 4330 (at least afaict).

Is there a list of your new sub-issues for 4330, so that I could add myself to cc on each
of them and try help this get cleared up?

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi,

I just checked the PPC Linux build and I am nicely seeing the OpenOffice Gulls when
I look at the top OpenOffice.org entry under Tools->Options

This is with a fresh build from scratch done yesterday.

Hmm ... so I am not seeing this one at all.
