For drawing diagrams, or Flowcharts ... it would be of interest, when
connectors, which already move with their connected objects, could (optionally)
also avoid overlapping with other drawing objects, i.e. all those they are not
connected to.

This would help a lot and also allow to draw e.g. database diagrams much quicker!

Additionally, connectors should avoid overlapping with the textbox of other 
connectors, if it contains some text.

has not been updated within the last 3 years. Please consider re-testing with
one of the latest versions of OOo, as the problem(s) may have already been
addressed. Either use the recent stable version:
