Pass the mouse over the tabs. As you move along, two tabs flash/blink

I think that either only one should flash, or better yet, that the tab over
which you pass is highlighted and remains highlighted until you move to another tab.

Which window manager/theme do you have?
does it happen with all tab pages in all OOo applications?
Try to check if it does not happen in other spplications.

I'm using XFCE's default window manager and its default theme. I tried Abiword
and it doesn't exhibit this behaviour.

Yes it happens in other OOo apps (Calc, for example).

cd->pl: Looks like 44664 and maybe you can reproduce this behavior.

The problem is that we cannot know whether a theme has a highlight effect for
mouse over or not, so we have to paint the tab that the mouse pointer leaves as
well as the tab that the mouse pointer enters. On many themes this is completely
unnecessary since they do not higlight the tab under the mouse pointer, but
there is no way of knowing.

I fear there is nothing we can do.
