With MySQL over ODBC, having default charset cp1251, field(whith russian text) in 
database do not viewed correctly. Russian symbols replaced on some extended 
symbols(i think cp1252...).

Hi,

I can't reproduce this.

In a mysql odbc database I select charset "1251" and have no problem to store
russian character in the table.

Is there anything different in your environment?

no more info since some weeks.

I close this issue now as INVALID.

Feel free to reopen the issue, if you can provide more information how to
reproduce this issue.
