Description richlv 2005-04-07 11:04:30 UTC
so, again i have a document that has several problems.
i'll send it to mru again (confidential mess).

first issue might be actually two separate issues or there might be no issue at
all - i can;t determine that, so i'll file this here. if these are two separate
issues, i'll be glad to file them separately.

1. in the first page, layout looks different in than in mso. notice how
some paragraphs tend to stick in smaller space than in mso - as if page was
wider here. page size doesn't differ (except for differences caused by header/
footer perception differences, but that doesn't affect page width), margins
actually are bigger in by 0.01cm. as a result text "Pakalpojumu apjoms"
is one the second page in mso, but 1st in

2. when the document is opened in, it seems that it has two headers. i
was unable to activate second header in mso. this might not be an issue at all,
this might affect vertical layout problem in point 1, so for now i mention this
only here.

ad 1:
I checked with Word 2002 and Word 2003 - both showed the document exactly as OO
does - on Windows. YOu work on Linux, right? There, the Times New ROman font may
be not available and so it is replaced by a different font on the screen. This
may lead to somelayout differencies.

ad 2.
There is an empty frame anchored to the paragraph in the header. When activating
the Header in Word, it will be displayed, too. This does not affect the layout.
