Description nbwepaul 2005-04-22 17:42:37 UTC
Create a spreadsheet in MS Excel. Use "Allow user to edit ranges" to mark cells
that can be edited even when the sheet is protected. Works in Excel. Open file
in OOo and try to edit cell, it says that protected cells can not be modified.

See attached file. The column marked "U" should be editable, but is not.

Same behavior occurs in 1.9.95

Hi,

not a defect but an enhancement. If you uncheck the protected field under format
cells for thecells which should be editable by the user this works fine. So
re-assigned to requirements.

Daniel,
please consider taking this issue out of requirements. Maybe some developer
will be interested in fixing this?
