Description droumanet 2005-04-30 20:42:21 UTC
There is a big difference between Visio symbols (computers, servers, etc.) and
the final result in OOo 1.9.95m. the link here shows the problem better than
words :)
If I cut/paste in draw, computer freeze for a long time (10 to 15 seconds) but
nothing appears.
When importing emf file and ungroup symbol, it seems that OOo use boxes with
90° angle while Visio and other application use rhombus (boxes with not egal
angles X/Y).

Because Visio is very powerfull in diagrams and because I'm writing a 100
page's document, it's very important for me ;)

Both reproducible, the timeout and the bad quality. I have tried with other emf
and wmf files where this seems ok.

Reassigned. Please have a look at this.

bug still in OOo 1.9.100m
Comment 6 sven.jacobi 2005-05-23 13:50:50 UTC
sj: We are having two different problems when loading the bugdocs into OOo 8.0
The first problem if loading WMF ist that we have a performance problem when
simulating the Meta_ExcludeClipRect Action via ExcludeClipRect() command. The
second problem if loading the emf file is that we do not properly clip the
objects via path clip commands.

I am getting this in Impress too.
Comment 9 dridgway 2007-01-11 00:03:18 UTC
Still reproducible (OO 2.1 / OS X).
