There is an error when importing linked graphics - the greek characters did not 
show up.  The same graphs improt into MSword and Wordperfect without error

This does indeed preferably happen with .wmf files, even when they 
are copy/pasted from StarOffice 5.2 (which showed them correctly). If 
they were exported or copy/pasted from Micrografx Designer 7 (which 
blows the files size up by a factor of 5 on export (not on c/p) or 
so ...) it works, from Corel Draw 9 or Origin 6.1 it won´t.
A scientific poster created with StarOffice 5.2, opened wit Oo1.0 
comes without the special characters .-(

German Version, Windows 2000 (latest sp)
hope this additional info helps ... (as said, under SO5.2 it workes 
perfectly)

Please find attached the following files concerning the issue 4857 within the .zip 
file:

character.dsf (I do not know if it helps because it´s the

file, I am not sure if the bypass described in the *.sxd works or does not work with 
Corel Draw or something alike)

may be a virus (just kidding, our server checkes everything twice and this machine 
runs daily updated OfficeScan corp.ed., but the devil is a word macro, so therefore I 
listed the files I attached)

Additional information:
Win 2k, SP3, Java JRE 
Version 1.3.1., OO 1.0.1 (German language) I haven´t tested this issue on the Linux-
Version (@ home) yet, because meanwhile I need to take a look into my ID card to know 
where "home" is.

Indeed this bug is reproduceable in version 1.0.1 but not any longer
in an actual internal version. So this should be fixed in OO 1.1.
