Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 49286
Sort database using symbol
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:12:27 UTC
In Calc, I select a database (say 4 rows, 4 columns). If I click the symbol for sorting "AZ" it sorts using the first column as key. That's right. The Help on line says that if I press TAB to select another cell (say in second column) it should sort using that column as key, but it doesn't work.
Hi, currently this is not possible and I can't find a place in the help system stating it should be possible. So this is an enhancement request. Frank

I retested right now in ver. 2.4 and is still not working neither as wished neither as in Help Guide. In conclusion: the symbols AZ and ZA for sorting are totally useless as they work now.
