Description magika 2005-05-14 20:45:35 UTC
An MS Office document of mine, an abbreviated version of which can be found at

http://www.ambler.me.uk/letter.doc

does not import properly. All of the alignment is messed up. Sorry if this is
a duplicate, I tried to look but couldn't find one! Alignment should be roughly:

Admissions office box Crest Hall Address

                                                    Date

My address
                                       Conditional Offer
Dear...

Instead, OpenOffice.org puts the crest on top of the admissions box and puts
"Date" and "My address" roughly where the crest should be. I am using version
680-m100 whatever that means.

MRU->OD: the graphic object should be placed centered between the two frames. It
looks that Word and Writer define the "paragraph area differently, when there's
a wrapped frame.
