Description rini17 2005-05-24 10:53:23 UTC
1. Create new presentation from template.
2. Go to the 'Background view' of the presentation.
3. Create new template.
4. Now how to transfer the text formatting from the first to second template?
After some twiddling with F11 and Styles tool, Impress crashed.

Reassigned.
Comment 2 rini17 2005-05-24 11:13:56 UTC
After some further editing I found out that any formatting changes (like text
color), that I apply to newly created slide template, are erroneously applied to
old template instead. Or it may look correctly, but after reopening the file,
second template stays on old formatting.

Result document where I encountered this and #49775 issue, is attached.

The bug is that the outline text on the masterslide is hard formated.
to 'reset' the text to a soft formating select the text and click on 'Format /
Default Formating'
I know that this bug already exist but I can't find it.
Please have a look.

Maybe I didn't grasp exactly what you mean, but selecting text on master slide
and selecting Format/Default format didn't help at all. I am still using Slovak
build 104.1 .

It also doesn't explain, why formatting applied to new slide template text is
applied to master slide instead and formatting of marked text in new slide
remains unchanged.

Did you also notice, that when you open enclosed test.odp, you get strange mixed
view? In left pane are slides with "real" text, while in center is the template.
Should I file that as another issue?
