No apparent support for hyperlinks when exporting from spreadsheet to database
in build 1.9.104.  Hyperlinks from spreadsheet files written in excel and OO
1.1.4, 1.9.100, 1.9.104 are imported as plain text when opened as database
tables in 1.9.104

please describe what you would expect - how should they be "imported"?

I have a spreadsheet for tracking of sample progress through a laboratory
setting, and and for each individual sample, a column in that spreadsheet that
has hyperlinks to additonal data - SEM and cathodoluminescence images, etc.  I'm
playing about with the new database in the current beta releases, as I think
turning this spreadsheet into a database would make tracking my samples easier.
 Anyway, the hyperlinks I have in the spreadsheet to the images stored elsewhere
on the server do not function when the spreadsheet is turned into a database, it
just imports them as text entries in each cell, rather than as a hyperlink.

Hi,

The wish is to have a hyperlink text field in the database view. So you can
display a text as a hyperlink.

I reassign it to the User Experience Team for evaluating.
