Create a table 4x4. In the first column merge rows 1 and 2. Try to merge rows 2
and 3 from the second column. OO says: the document is too complex.
This document is not too complex even to the Word 97.

yes, it is very difficult to convince the MS-Word users to use OpenOffice.org
Writer if this word processor cannot solve such a trivial problem.

Limitation due to table concept. One of the oldest OO issues... see issue 4032.
