Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 49928
Allow direct use of Special Characters in Formulas
Last modified: 2011-01-03 14:38:04 UTC
In text Special Characters (ALT-I-P) can be used. When the fomula editor is openened the insertion of special characters is not possible. Special Characters can be inserted in formulas in a convoluted way: first put the character is text and then copy it into the formula. I would suggest making Special Cahracters directly available for insertion from the menu bar, like in text editing mode.
