Description leguff 2005-06-03 09:03:49 UTC
- insert a TextTable into an arbitrary (e.g. empty :-) ) TextDocument with at
least 2 lines
- change the background color of a cell in line 1
- mark for example the whole line 1, press CTRL+C for copy
- mark the while line 2, press CTRL+V for paste
- you'll see that any (if exists) content or formula is beeing copied but not
the background color of the cell

Comment: I've checked that with OOo1.9.104, .93 and OOo1.1.4

MRU->DVO: When copying from a table into another table, the tables attributes
are not transferred.

My tests are based on Windows XP sp2 with OOo 2.0. Some results are not same
as reporter's.

1.In an arbitrary Text Document, creating an 3*3 table, giving different
content and color to every cell. I can see that the format of first row is
different from second and third row: numbers and characters in each cell of
first row are bold, italic, and in the middle of cell.
2.copying first row to third row. I see the contents of first row are copied,
but colors and format are not. This result is same as reporter's;
3.copying second row to third row. I see the content, color and format are
copied successfully. This result is different from reporter's;
4.copying second row to first row. I see the contents are copied successfully.
But only the color and format of last cell of second row are copied to last
cell of first row. This result and all the following results are different
from reporter's;
5.copying second row to first row again. I see the color and format of second
cell of second row are copied to second cell of first row;
6.copying second row to first row for the third time. I see the color and
format of first cell of second row are copied to first cell of first row.
7.then giving different color and format to each cell of first row, and
copying first row to second, I see the color and format are copied
successfully.

My tests shows:
--when copy/paste are not relevant to first row(eg. copy second row to third
row, or third row to second row ), color are copied successfully.
--the first row is special that when copying first row to other rows, color
are not copied.
--after copying other row(eg. second row) to first row for enough times, the
color and format of first whole row are replaced, and at the same time the
specialty of the first row will be cancelled;
--after the specialty of the first row is cancelled, when copying first row to
other rows, color are copied successful.
--color and format(bold, italic, and in the middle) of cell have close
relationship in the former tests.

Hope my tests will give more information about the issue.
