Description perfecto 2005-06-05 09:37:53 UTC
Open the doc, go to the last slide and move one of the two formula to a new
location.
Try to save, it is impossible.

Close, reopen and repeat » same problem but not always, if you can save, don't
close and tray closing de Slide Pane (¿?) and moving again.

I tried in a Peintium II and a Turion 64.

Priority changed.

Sorry, not reproducible. Do you use the original beta version m79 or a later
one? Thanks in advance.

I think it depends on the way I work with the mouse because I have found the
same problem moving another objects as images, not only with formulas. Sometimes
openoffice crashes when I change from Write to Impress or viceversa in a fast way.

When I'm connected to internet and OpenOffice crahses I always send the error
report but sometimes I'm not connected and although I click yes I don't know if
the report is sent when I reconnect to the net.

The version I use is m104. It's a very good job. I like it very much.

Thanks for your commendation.
Is this linux you are using? The crashs seems to have a different root than the
non-saving document.

It is Windows XP, Profesional in one computer and Home Edition in the other one.
Today I was using Write with 3 documents openned at the same time without
problems and with calc during an hour. I think that there is some relation with
the mouse because if I used the keys to move the images I hadn't any problem
(until now). Today I was using matlab and write copying and pasting without
problems (I didn't move the images).
¿May be some relation between write and impress? If I have more problems or I
can reproduce the problem in a certain way I will write it here.

Changed Platform, OS, Version due to reporter's information

Reduced priority because not reproducible: I checked with 2.0 (1.9.m104) English
version WIN XP: [680m104(Build8913)], WFM

Reporter, what means "cannot save": crash? error message? something else?

This might be related to issue 48008, issue 50602 (but I don't think so).
Comment 8 wolframgarten 2005-07-19 12:11:42 UTC
Still not reproducible and no more info received.
Comment 9 wolframgarten 2005-07-19 12:12:02 UTC
