Description robertpopa22 2005-06-06 17:56:02 UTC
I have a word document that was opened/imported corectly into OOo 1.9.104
Writer, with the correct starting page of 56.
Unfortunately I have to print from page #1, not from page #56 in order to get
something printed.

I am sending you the file...

Possible replication of bug

The red circled area displays where a user may go wrong in attempting to select the pages to be printed, if the do not also change the defealut print from "All pages" to a specific run.
Comment 7 laura h 2014-02-26 21:59:06 UTC
I was able to reproduce the bug if the user selects the preview section (left side of the print box) of the print page and enters the desired pages without also updating the Range and Copies section, second radio button "pages."

See attachments. Otherwise, I cannot reproduce.

Print dialog should allow selection between physical page numbers (1-38) and logical page numbers (56-93)

A selection of logical page numbers is only reasonable with a straight page numbering. But

a) you can have books where a big TOC and appendix has its own page numbering.
b) you can have merged letters where _all_ pages are page 1
c) and so on.
