From a discussion with SB:

There might be a problem if 2 instances of soffice, or ure are started at the
same time.
They create a soffice: javasetttings_$(_OS)_$(_ARCH).xml or
~/.ure/javasettings_$(_OS)_$(_ARCH).xml
at the same time, which might lead to a conflict at creating the same file at
the same location.

This effects only those platforms which use a javaldx. That is Windows is not
affected.  Javaldx would need to use a lock mechanism - similar to the office's
lock file.
