Description mrsoto 2005-06-09 04:50:50 UTC
I've applied average (really PROMEDIO in spanish) to range which has text and
numbers, all less that 100% and the average function return 100%

values: "N/A" 0 0 0.5 0.5 0.5 0
result: 100%

After change number format from average's input range the result change from
100% to 0%. To see change format in range B4:H7. Q4 will change!!

Hi,

this is not a prio 1 task. P3 fits better.

The problem in this case can be solved if you untag precision as shown under
tools options spreadsheet calculate.

There is an other Issue regarding the import of this setting. ( Issue 48139 )

The remaining problem is how we set the results of calculations if user defined
number formats are set and precission as shown is selected. This is declared as
Prio 4 and target later.

To be precise, the problem is "precision as shown" in combination with a
percentage number format that contains a string and a second subformat:

"P: "0%;"P: N/D"

If the second subformat is removed the correct value is shown:

"P: "0%

OpenOffice.org 3.0.1
Issue:
Calculation - Precision as shown
