Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 50872
OO allowing for deleting the opened file with out any warning
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:43:17 UTC
OO allowing for deleting the opened file with out any warning. Steps ------ 1.open a calc sheet 2.save it as "test" in Desktop with automatic file name extension 3.Delete the file from the Desktop 4.Close the "test" fle 5. You loose the whole data............... Suse 9.3,OOO 1.9.104
This is a general bug even reproducible in writer, presentation ....
wrong component changed to framework
TM->requirements: Please have a look. This is definitly not a bug and not a valid scenario for a defect. The user deletes the file himself by using the desktop or a different program. So OOo can´t surely be blamed to loose data.
