I am using OOo Base to connect to an Oracle 8.1.7 database using JDBC.
When linking two tables with an OUTER JOIN (it is the same for either RIGHT,
LEFT or FULL OUTER JOIN), I get the error message:

   SQL Status: 42000
   Error code: 933

   ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended

Sorry for the late response - I was on a business trip...

Unfortunately I do not have the rights to install the new version in the Solaris
environment. The tests using the latest version on my Linux box revealed another
error message: unrecognized SQL92 token: OJ

Does this help?
