Redhat 7.2  Kernel.org 2.4.18.

I try to run 
   ./setup -net
I see on terminal:
   glibc version: 2.2.4

I get a progress bar.  When it finishes I get:
   pure virtual method called
And nothing more.
I can give strace output if desired.

I've tried without any problem on my RH7.2.
Have you tried this:

Me too. This time on 643C :-( 643 version works without problems.
