Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 51159
'automatic' style list should contain custom and applied styles
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:42:54 UTC
I often use the 'automatic' style list in stylist, but it neither includes all styles used in the document ('Applied styles') nor all user-defined styles ('Custom styles'). Since users are very likely to use their own custom styles and to reuse already applied styles, it would save them quite a number of mouse clicks to have them in the 'Automatic' list.
I forgot: Maybe there could be a setting in the options dialogues for this.

In 2.4.0 the situation is unchanged, and I still think that including all "user-defined" and all "applied" styles in the "automatic" selection would make a lot of sense and a lot of people's lives easier.
