Description stair 2005-07-16 09:55:52 UTC
create picture in Draw including text
select all and copy
in MSWord document 'paste special -> metafile' no text is visible
in MSWord document 'paste special -> picture' only first line of multi-line text
boxes visible.

In the latter case the second and subsequent lines appear to be present as empty
text boxes in the word picture

Last verified on OOo1.9.113, WinXP, OfficeXP but certainly present in earlier
versions of OOo. Problem NOT present in OOo1.1.4

"Picture" is not precise. Please attach a draw-document with such an object.
Comment 2 wolframgarten 2005-07-18 07:56:26 UTC
Thanks, regina. Not reproducible without a bugdoc.

Comment 4 stair 2005-07-18 22:33:59 UTC
In the example I have just posted select the rectangle, copy, change to MSWord,
paste, in the resulting Word picture the rectangle is visible but no text (text
is actually white). if you edit>paste special>picture instead the 1st line is
visible, the 2nd line is white
Comment 5 Regina Henschel 2005-07-18 23:49:37 UTC
That sounds like issue 48357 and the following issue 51648. But I don't know in
which public snapshot the solution will be integrated.

*** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 48357 ***

I had a look at the bugdoc, thanks for attaching it. I have no problems copying
it from a m118 to Word 2002. Everything arrives there.
In m115 the problem is reproducible. So I think Regina is right: this is
aduplicate of i48357. Closed. Thanks to everybody helping.
Comment 7 stair 2005-07-31 22:59:23 UTC
I don't think this issue is fully resolved, the following attached drawing has
rotated text, this copies correctly if pasted into Word 2002 (source is
OOo1.9.118) as a metafile or bitmap however 'paste special -> picture' the text
is still white

example drawing with rotated text
Comment 9 wolframgarten 2005-08-01 10:29:58 UTC
Reproducible. When pasting using insert/picture the second line is missing/text
is white.
Comment 10 wolframgarten 2005-08-01 10:30:23 UTC
Reassigned.

@cl-sj: I think you have a duplicate issue to this one regarding metafiles?
