Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 52148
Extra paste option: keep formattings but leave out graphics
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:34:13 UTC
Would it be possible to include an extra option when pasting text from e.g. the web, so that one can paste text without pictures/graphics/images.
hi jayze, thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice.org... IMHO you are searching for the following: - do a long click on the "paste"-symbol - you can choose from a menu: - HTML - unformatted text
MCI's proposal will miss out the formattings from the copied text.

Hi Unfortunately this is still a problem. There is no option to paste as Formatted Text from the internet into OOo Writer. Have verified this with OOo 2.4.0. Perhaps this can be integrated with a version of OOo 3.0.
