When you apply the autofilter to a range of fields, and pastes a formula to a 
range of filtered fields, the formula is pasted to "the hidden" fields. In MS 
Excel the formula is not pasted to "the hidden" fields. Same problem if you 
paste formats....

What's about using the query facilities before submitting Issues ?
A simple query for component spreadsheet and description autofilter would have
lead you to Issue 2977 which this one is a double to.
