Description falcom 2005-07-19 18:51:30 UTC
If the temp variable(s) for the Windows Operating system are set to paths on a
drive that no longer exists, then Calc will crash when any operation is
attempted after the application starts.

No useful error message is provided, no workaround is provided.

Hi Carsten,

beside the fact that it's a not a wise decision to remove the drive holding the
TEMP directory we should not crash.

cd: The Office should check if the temp drive is available during startup.
Currently we have a special function to set a new temporary folder, which should
propagate an error message if it cannot create this folder.
