Description fergusmurray 2005-07-28 09:44:37 UTC
In 1.9.113 and in 1.1.4 image referencing is not honoured.

In Excel, insert a picture, then set the formula to reference an image in the
same worksheet.

Changing the source image does not update the referenced image in OpenOffice,
where as it does in Excel.

See Attachment:
In Excel moving the arrow in the "DIAGRAM" sheet should update the drawing in
the "MH-PIT-SCHEDULE", but this is not the case in Open Office
Fergus.

I don't understand "In Excel, insert a picture, then set the formula to
reference an image in the same worksheet." To me it seems not to be an image but
a shape and not a simple reference but a linked OLE-Object. Please describe how
you produce that excel-file.
Can you do the same as in Excel with a new OOo-Spreadsheet?

hi,

this is not a defect because we are not Excel and Calc did not have this Feature.

So the requested feature is that a graphic on one sheet is linked to an other
one on a diferent sheet so that changing e.g. the end point of an arrow from
upper left to lower right is reflected on the second sheet.
