Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 52701
Set default query to include unconfirmed issues
Last modified: 2008-05-17 23:34:59 UTC
Hi, http://www.openoffice.org/issues/query.cgi should default to include unconfirmed issues as well. Reason: This is the page that is being given for reporters of issues to check whether an issue has already been reported (check for potential dupes). Of course that query should include as-of-yet unconfirmed issues as well. Regards Rolf
I thought that the page http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/project_issues.html#finding is refered to for the check if an issue already exists. Please let us know where this is not the case and we'll mihgt be able to change this. I think the better approach might be to raise the question of the default query with the QA project at dev@qa.openoffice.org.
On the left hand side under "My Tools" I select "File issue" which is linked to http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/pre_submission.html. The second link in the main text tells me to "check if [my] problem is already reported" which leads to http://www.openoffice.org/issues/query.cgi. On that page at least unconfirmed issues are not by default selected in the query.
I agree with Stefan and ask that you raise this with the dev@qa project list. you can subscribe here: http://qa.openoffice.org . Best louis
I changed the file pre_submission.html to point to the form in project_issues.html#finding This from considers unconfirmed issues.
The Issue you raised has been marked as 'Resolved' and not updated within the last 1 year+. I am therefore setting this issue to 'Verified' as the first step towards Closing it. If you feel this is incorrect, please re-open the issue and add any comments. As per previous posting: Verified -> Closed. A Closed Issue is a Happy Issue (TM). Regards, Andrew
