Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 53511
WW8: Table with all rows set as heading behaves differently in OO
Last modified: 2005-08-19 12:16:35 UTC
Document with table first created in OO 1.9.122 sent home and edited in Word 2000. Back at work pages missing from table. Open document in Word 2000 pages there. Open document in OO 1.4 pages there. Defect with OO 1.9.122.

There is a problem with the "repeated heading rows" in the table. The whole table is marked as "Repeated heading" (see in MS Word, table menu). As a workaround in OpenOffice, go to the table's properties dialog and set the "Repeat headings" from 40 to 1. This will correct it at first. MRU->FL: When all rows of such a large table are marked as "Heading to be repeated", Writer should also ignore the settings. This behaviour might be quite more useful. I think, this can be solved for next release in connection with issue 48421. Please decide. Thanks.
Same problem like issue 48421. I have added a recommendation to that issue. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 48421 ***
