Description ckolar 2005-08-24 18:57:25 UTC
Hi. I am using 1.9.122. When I click on the background color toolbar button I
am able to select a color and it formats the cell appropriately. The toolbar
button changes so that it reflects the last color used. Problem is that when I
want to repeat the format somewhere else I click on the button (not the arrow)
to try to use the indicated color, but the selector box pops up again. Not the
expected interface behavior. Thanks. --chris

I am useing Win XP and 1.9.122 I am able to recreate this, though the issue is
the toolbar doesnt take on the color of the color pick but rather the background
color of the cell that currently has the focus.

Hi there,

Using both OOo 1.1.4 and OOo 2.0 Beta 2 on WinXP Pro SP2

Same thing here, on both versions. The background color button and the text
color button are always taking the color of the focused cell, not the color we
selected.

OOo 2.0Beta 2 (1.9.122) :
Another thing about these buttons, the background color button and the text
color button are not the same, and does not work the same. The text button has a
drop down menu (color selection box) when we select the arrow on the right side
-> Clicking in the middle of the button does not drop the color selection box.
For the background button, there is an arrow on the right but it is the same
cliking the arrow or in the middle, both are dropping the color selection box.

Same for the border button (as the background color button)

I'm trying to put here some captures of what i can see...

Hope it will help !
