Description eyolf 2005-08-28 20:36:13 UTC
Unable to change the setting "break page before" in a paragraph style which
depends on another where this is set.
One style (ChildStyle) is linked with another (ParentStyle). ParentStyle has a
page break before. If I try to remove this property from DependentStyle, the
change applies on the screen, but it does not stay when I reopen the document.

Steps to reproduce:

1.Create a new document
2.Create ParentStyle,
3.Modify style >Text Flow > Breaks: Insert: page, before,
4.Set some page style in the “With page style” field
5.Create DependentStyle with New Style from selection
6.Unselect the break property from 2.
7.Save
8.Close
9.Reopen.

Now, the page break is back again before ChildStyle.
If the Page break in the ParentStyle does not have a page style associated with
it, the change in the ChildStyle will stay.

I use German version 1.9.125 on WinXP. I can confirm the described behavior.

MRU->FLR: open attached document and deactivate the "Page break" option of the
paragraph style "ChildStyle". When saving and reopening the document, the change
will no longer be persistent.
