Description richlv 2005-09-12 07:01:27 UTC
when a long text for object is edited, it is impossible to reliably edit start
and end of it - all text is put in a single line and it overflows.

this could be solved by editing the text in a scrollable textbox. to be usable
this box must be resizeable.

applicable for all applications.

also, in writer text that overflows the page area is not visible until it is
changed - this problem also would be solved if the text was in a separate
textbox.

In my mind this is an enhancement and not a bug.
Comment 4 richlv 2005-10-21 13:17:33 UTC
well, it can stay as enchancement, though there are cases when this behaviour
prevents user from editing or viewing data - so i would call that a bug ;)
