Description mgualtie 2005-09-24 16:53:05 UTC
I am using Impress build 1.9.130.

When inserting text into a spreadsheet, oriented text is not spaced the same
distance as non-oriented text. When left-spacing 0.1pt, the angled text is to
the right of the non-angled text. When left-spacing 141.8pt, the angled text is
to the left of the non-angled text. Here are the steps:

1) Open Impress.
2) Insert a spreadsheet.
3) Select column A, format cells, and then the borders tab.
4) Set all the spacing to contents fields to zero.
5) Enter text into the first four items in column A.
6) Orient 1A and 3A to 45 degrees. (format cells, alignment, text orientation)
7) Set Spacing to Contents, Left to .1pt for 1A and 2A.
8) Set Spacing to Contents, Left to 141.8 for 3A and 4A.

Notice that the oriented text is spaced differently, to the right or left of,
the non-oriented text even though the spacing is the same.
