Description frosties69 2005-10-15 09:56:16 UTC
Hello,

I noticed a problem with a word generated document.
The numerotation of the paragraphs in not respected if we open it with OO Word
processor

I join you an example illustrating the matter.

You can when you open it with OO Writer app that all the paragraph are numbered
1.X even if there are on section 2 or more.

Thanks

Hello,

I got the same result on my PC (1.6 GHz, 512 MB, Windows XP Professional)
using the OpenOfficeorg Writer 2.0 RC, when I used the provided
test_numerotation.doc.

MRU->OD: open the attached Word document -> the outline numbering in the second
level will be counted kind of "continuously". It is still 1.x when it should be
2.x or 3.x. Problem seems to be, that the first level is not linked to a Heading
style, but the second level is.
Problem also occured in OO 1.x.

This bug is still present in OOo3.1.1
Will attach another test:
Answer should be (indentation lost on paste):
Part A	This is a document with outline numbering the reference to (ii) seems to
be a word problem with the style (tch!) - should start at (i).
A.1	This level 2
A.1.1	level 3
A.1.2	level 3
A.1.3	level 3
(ii)	level 4
(iii)	level 4
Part B	level 1
B.1	level 2
B.1.1	level 3
B.1.2	level 3
