Description safway 2005-10-28 21:17:29 UTC
Here are the steps to duplicate:
Open a blank document
Tools | Mail Merge Wizard
Create a new document | Next
Letter | Next
Select Different Address List (if necessary)
Select any table listed
This brings up the "Select Address List" window
Make sure one of the options in this window is highlighted
Click the "Filter" button
Nothing happens

Tried this on Linux and Windows XP
Tried this using Outlook, Spreadsheet, MySQL, dbase database types

Comment 2 christoph.lukasiak 2006-05-09 13:39:37 UTC
i can repro that if i take a database (table/query) which must be reconnected ->
then no filter dialog appears (id db is already connected it works fine) =>
anything must get lost by connecting
