- start an Impress
- start the animator (insert/animated image)
- create an custom shape on the slide 
- select the custom shape and click on apply object in the animator
- the custom shape is invisible in the animator.
- if you create the animation you can see the object on the slide but still not
in the animator

sj->cl: The shape is not being displayed within the animator, because in
svx/souce/svdraw/svdobj.cxx SdrObject::getUnoShape there is no UnoPage for pPage
available.
