Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 58579
Superscripting of suffix of ranking numbers is translated to CSS as vertical-align:sup;
Last modified: 2013-02-07 21:48:56 UTC
In the xhtml exporter, superscripting of numbers (th, nd, etc) is translated to CSS as vertical-align:sup;, not vertical-align:super; as per CSS2 spec. To repeat: 1. create a document with a ranking number in, e.g. 10th. 2. Export to an xhtml file, e.g. test.xhtml 3. Look at source of xhtml file: CSS section contains "vertical-align:sup;"
confirmed on Windows XP Pro SP2 with OOo 2.0.1 RC2
Reassigned to ES.

Target OOo Later
-> XML
-> external filters
COnfirmed on Linux with OpenOffice 2.3. Very annoying since I have to postprocess all the XHTML files which are generated from documents with footnotes.
