Description fipa 2005-12-02 06:14:15 UTC
The problems during the exporting of a document into RTF format.

1.The setting of a footing in the First Page style is switched of and is tranferred into the Default style.
2.The size of the Upper Index characters is changed into the size of default characters.

This was OK with 1.1x line...

can you attach a sample file with which to show the problem, please; thanks

Confirmed.

Problem 2.: upper index is still upper index in exported RTF file, but the size
of its letters is the same as normal letters.

Problem 1: I took molcanf's ODT file, opened it and saved to RTF. The second
page *has* footer although it doesn't have footer in ODT. And in fact, I also
see another special thing: in the exported RTF file, I see that the text on the
first page's body contains other stuff prepended to the real text:

footer;caption;Index;

where footer and Index are written using in Default style and caption in
Italics. The resulting RTF is attached as pokus.rtf.

MRU->FLR: when exporting nthe attached odt and reopening in Writer, the footer
from first page moved to second page and the spacing between header and body
text is lost.

Florian: can you please evaluate this for 2.0.2?

This Issue requires more information ('needmoreinfo'), but has not been updated
within the last year. Please re-test with one of the latest versions of OOo -
the problem(s) may have already been addressed. Either use the recent stable
version: http://download.openoffice.org/index.html
or consider trying the new OOo 3 BETA (still in testing):
http://download.openoffice.org/3.0beta/

Please report back the outcome so this Issue may be closed or progressed as
necessary - otherwise it may be Resolved as Invalid in the future. You may also
wish to search for (and note) any duplicates of this Issue that may have
advanced further :

Hi,

The fix for 1 is rather easy. In sw/source/filter/rtf/rtfatr.cxx, on line 3470
of version 1.75.136.1, it should be:

if( rRTFWrt.pAktPageDesc->GetFollow() &&

That would make the behaviour of exporting the \footerf section as it is made
for the \headerf section. I justify it by seeing that the export does the right
thing for the header, so I compared the two functions that deal with headers and
footers and saw that the difference was basically there.

I doubt if solving this issue will solve 60332 as well.
Reason: denisfalqueto (Thu Nov 6 2008) writes: ".. the export does the right
thing for the header"
This is not the case for 60332 (and all dups)...

So I intend to reopen 60332. Any idea on this?
