FWIW, the .ppt loaded and saved as .sxi in 1.1.5 gives an sxi that looks like
the original .ppt

Reassigned.
Comment 7 christian.guenther 2005-12-07 08:58:09 UTC
I can't reproduce the bug.
Please tell me what linux do you use.
Do you have the font you used in PPT also on Linux?
Comment 8 caolanm 2005-12-07 09:15:00 UTC
It's fedora core 4. The font is "Nimbus Sans L", i.e. I took a ppt file,
selected its text and choose "Nimbus Sans L" as its font, saved as .ppt and
reloaded to get the first attachment and screenshot. Subsequently saving as .odp
and reloading gave the 2nd screenshot.

Reproduced on SuSE 9.2 with 2.0 (680m3).
Reproduced on Debian with 2.0.1rc4 (680m145).
Reproduced on Windows 98 SE, and Windows ME.
Seems not depending on Fonts.
Changing OS from Linux to All.
Comment 11 christian.guenther 2006-07-12 14:53:55 UTC
I can reproduce the bug on Fedora core 5 Linux.
Please have a look.
