i had loaded a presentation in .pps from a mail, it appeared in "plan" way.
after i clicked on "diaporama" it crashed and i had the message: "crashrep made
an error in kernel32.dll". Then the message: "soffice... an error in sd680mi.dll".
as i tried to send the report, i had again "crasrep...etc". then it crashed again.

received file from user; can't reproduce a crash; what's diaporama and plan 
view?

Diaporama I think is french for slideshow. And plain view means normal or
drawing view. but still the problem is not reproducible.
Where did you get the installation from, is it an original download from OOo?
Can you says something about the hardware of your thinkpad (CPU, RAM)? Thanks again.

Closing the issue since the users hardware does not meet the hardware
requirements for running OOo.
There is no "light"-version of OOo . Installing only the needed applications
wont solve the problem I believe.
