I could not reproduce crash on my systems: official OOo 2.0.0 on Windows 2000
and Linux 2.6 (FC4). I suspect the problem is Fedora's version of OOo since
2.0.0 (allegedly a problem with compiling with GCC 4.0.0).

mweske: Can you try to make a crash with official RPMs 2.0.0 or 2.0.1rc1 from
http://download.openoffice.org ?
Comment 4 mweske 2005-12-09 12:13:41 UTC
I had the same problem on my FC4 Athlon system. Removed and re-installed from
the official 2.0.1rc1 and the problem has cleared, so as stated it is the
download I got through "yum" for FC4. I will have to do the same on my
Athlon64 system. Is there an RPM for the Athlon64? I did not see a 64bit in the
menu.
Thank you for your time.
Comment 5 wolframgarten 2005-12-09 12:20:48 UTC
No, there is no offical special build for Athlon64.
