Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 5910
Handwriting Input of Chinese
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:00:01 UTC
As it is the Open Office 1.0 is not able to accept Chinese characters entered by the use of Handwriting tablets both on the Microsoft Windows or Linux Operating System!
There are handwriting tablets and software that can input Chinese characters to other software on Microsoft windows and Linux. However, these software will not input the Chinese characters to Open Office 1.0. Or look at it from another point of view, the Open Office 1.0 does not accept characters from these software!
Reassigned to Bettina.
Reassigned to Falko as the responsible one for the component L10N.
Beside using tablet there is other method for inputing chinese. hope OOo can support it
Please provide more information _why_ OO.o does not support such software. Does this software use proprietary interfaces? If so, we will not support it.
