Since m143 (and still the case in m145) the buttons for numbering 
and bullets do not show depressed when the cursor is in a numbered 
or bulleted line.

Currently the Bullet/Numbering buttons are not designed to behave like a "Radio
selection". Maybe this could be a useful enhancement.

Not that the behavior changed w.r.t. OO 1.0. 
 
In 1.01RC4 the bullet button does not show pressed when the cursor is in  
a paragraph that has a bullet in from. 
Same for numbered paragraphs. 
I don't know anything about radio buttons or radio selections. 
 
But the buttons should show the 
current state of the paragraph the cursor is in. Just like the paragraph 
alignment buttons etcetera. 
 
Again, OO worked like this and now you changed the behavior. You should not 
do that in a .01 release.

Sorry, I cannot see a regression, either. 
I checked it with 1.1.4 and 2.0.0, same behaviour as in the actual 2.0.1 RC4.

I was wrong to say it is a regression.
I checked my old windows installation and confirm that it always worked like this.
Must have been confused with Word :-(

You were correct labeling this as a feature request.
Anyway I can image you are not quickly changing this since apparently
you plan to completely rework the numbering system.

Reproducible on Windows for example in version 3.2.0

In 4.x versions requested enhancement is _implemented_
(toolbar(s) & Sidebar).
