Start Impress on a non-empty presentation

Insert -> object -> spreadsheet

The spreadsheet appears, but frequently the application hangs and needs to be killed

term signal (i.e. killall soffice.bin) is enough.

The problems seems to be accentuated by the presence of the "activities" and
"slides" bars on the sides of the slide-editing panel.

Please, could you test this with OOo 2.0.1RC4?
I see that in this release the sidepanels "slides" and "activities" diappear
automatically when entering the embebed speadsheet and are restored after
editing the sheet. Most probably the problem is gone.
Please, could you confirm in order to close the issue?

I have tested OOo 2.0.1RC5.

So far it seems fixed.

If you find the issue again you can reopen the issue for further investigation.
