Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 59317
The behavior when clicking hyperlink to the text document on the form
Last modified: 2006-05-31 14:29:06 UTC
In the form of the database, it creates a hyperlink to the text document. When clicking a hyperlink on the form, the behavior differs in 2.0.0 and 2.0.1rc. In case of OpenOffice.org 2.0.0: 1. The following dialog is displayed. Security Warning This hyperlink is going to open "<filename>". Do you want to proceed? [Yes] [No] [help] 2. When [Yes] is clicked, linked hyperlink document is opened as "new window". In case of OpenOffice.org 2.0.1rc: 1. A dialog above isn't displayed. 2. The window which was displaying a form has opened a linked text document. (The new window doesn't open.) 3. In the operation of "File->Close", this document can not be closed. (Only "File->Exit" works.) The linked document should be displayed at the new window.

I don't know about the security warning, but please follow http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/basic_rules.html#one_per_issue here. The root problem of 2. is described by i59272: Since 2.0.1, form documents are automatically replaced when another text document is loaded, which is a bug, described by issue 59272 *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 59272 ***
